Sweethearts Confectionery | Huntingdon, PA

It's Monday, it's dreary and cold, what is on my agenda? Head down to Sweethearts to grab a cupcake of course! Sweethearts Confectionery is a place I have been going to since they first opened. My oldest son has been getting his birthday cakes from here for the past three years! Today I gobbled up a raspberry crumb cupcake and devoured it in the car on my way home.

Jana, the owner of Sweethearts is literally a sweet heart! She is so easy to work with and goes above and beyond to satisfy her customers. A tradition we have is that each kid gets to choose his own birthday cake flavor. One year my son wanted a chocolate cake with marshmallows and strawberries. Crazy, I know. When I went to pick up this cake it was the BEST cake I had ever taken a bite out of. She was able to put together a chocolate cake with marshmallow icing topped with fresh strawberries. Words cannot describe how great this cake tasted!

Not only does she make your mouth water with her decadent cupcakes and cakes she also has a variety of candies and chocolates too! My children love to go in a pick out some of their favorites. Sweethearts in located downtown right along Washington Street.

This shop is a gem in our little town and I hope you get the chance to stop by soon! Grab a cup of coffee and come in and get some candy and desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth at Sweethearts Confectionery!
